Anne-Claire Lainé

Anne-Claire Lainé is the director of the association Longueur d’ondes, founded in 2002 in Brest. Since 2012, she has coordinated the eponymous festival, France’s main event dedicated to radio and listening. With degrees in contemporary history and documentary cinema, she began her career at France Culture, notably on the programs La Fabrique de l’histoire and Les Nuits magnétiques. Her work is dedicated to promoting and defending radio creation as a genre in its own right.

Alexandre Plank

Trained in philosophy and dramaturgy, Alexandre Plank joined Radio France in 2010 as a producer. He creates fiction and documentary works for France Culture, RFI, RTBF, RTS, and Deutschlandfunk. Winner of numerous awards, including Prix Italia (2016, 2020) and the Grand Prix SGDL (2017), he co-founded in 2019 Making Waves, an association dedicated to creation, integration, and international solidarity through radio.

Anamaria Pravicencu

Anamaria Pravicencu is a sound artist based in Bucharest and founder of the platform SEMI SILENT (2016), dedicated to podcasting, sound art, radio art, and field recording. She also developed the SONIC FUTURE RESIDENCIES program (2018, 5 editions) to support mobility in contemporary sound art. In 2022–2024, she co-curated Sonic Narratives (Simultan) in Timișoara as part of the European Capital of Culture.

Steven Jambot

Luca Niculescu

Luca Niculescu is Romania’s Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and National Coordinator for the country’s accession to the OECD, appointed in 2022. He previously served as Romania’s Ambassador to France, Monaco, and Andorra (2016–2022), and represented Romania at international organizations such as the OECD and the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie.

Before his diplomatic career, he was a prominent journalist for over two decades, including as editor-in-chief at Radio France Internationale Romania and correspondent for major French media outlets. He holds degrees in journalism from the University of Bucharest and CUEJ Strasbourg.

He has been honored with numerous awards, including the Légion d’honneur (2023) and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (2019).

Laurent Couderc

Since 2003 Laurent Couderc has been working as a journalist in Bucharest. Press correspondent for several francophone media until 2008 (L’Express, La Croix, RTBF, Le Soir), he is now the editor-in-chief of Regard (regard.ro). He also runs a radio show on RFI Romania and teaches at the Faculty of journalism (University of Bucharest). Previously to his arrival in Romania he spent ten years in Spain working for various news agencies.
