Clouds is an audio drama by Anne Lepère (Belgium), which invites listeners on a dreamlike journey between Heaven and Earth. Guided by imaginary creatures, the listener travels through layers of clouds—Cumulus, Stratus, Cirrus—with unique sound and poetic textures. Presented with Romanian and English subtitles, this 50-minutes work is produced by Babelfish and SEMI SILENT.

Born in 1985, Anne Lepère is a Belgian sound artist, composer and radio producer. Starting from 2013, she began exploring radio creation and self-produced her first pieces, experimenting with different sound forms: field recording, sound art, radio drama, and spoken word. In her work, the voice is often a central element, as if it was necessary to start from breath and intimate space before questioning a more global vision. Currently, Anne is just curious to find new forms of sound expression, collaborating on dance and performance projects, and continuing the radio production. “Autopoïèse,” a sound poem supported by ACSR and the Radio Creation Support Fund of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, won the Palma Ars Acustica (EBU Music) in 2019.
Her sound pieces are broadcast on European radio stations, in contests, and on international platforms. In Belgium – La Première, Musiq3, Radio Panik, Radio Campus, Flagey, Brass, CC Jacques Franck, Cinema Nova, Arte Radio (France), Le labo (Switzerland), Radiophrenia (Scotland), Nova Rté Lyrics (Ireland); internationally – Radia.fm, Kinokophone (New York), Süden Radio (Berlin / Radio Papesse Italy), Grand Prix Nova (Romania), Palma Ars Acustica (EBU), 60 Secondes Radio (Canada), Utopie Sonore (Nantes, France), etc.
Lately, her work has focused on the relationship between sound research and the stage and choreographic language; she is interested in how diffusion devices can be used (spatialization, octophony, etc.) in particular. She collaborates with choreographers Marion Sage (Grand Tétras), Estelle Gautier (Rapid Eye Movement), Thibaud le Mague (En Lieu Sûr), and Danya Hammoud (Sérénités).
