Maurine Mercier is a Swiss-Canadian journalist. Radio correspondent for RTS, France Info, and RTBF, she covered conflicts in North Africa (2016–2022) before moving to Kyiv to report on the war in Ukraine. Winner of the Bayeux-Calvados-Normandie Prize (2022 & 2023), the Jean Dumur Prize (2022), and the Swiss Press Award (2023), she favors a humanist approach with long-format listening and testimony.
