Dogs of Cișmigiu is a sound documentary project created by Anamaria Pravicencu (Romania) that shares the stories of the dogs of Cișmigiu Garden, raising awareness about adoption, care, and animal rights. Through a geolocated app, 25 to 30 audio recordings and podcasts will present the stories of the dogs’ human companions, integrated into various locations throughout the park, combining sound immersion with the discovery of the park.

Presentation of Dogs of Cișmigiu, a documentary production currently in progress for the geolocation app GOH, created for sound artists. Visitors to Cișmigiu Garden will be able to discover, at different locations, stories about the neighborhood’s dogs.
Anamaria Pravicencu is a sound artist based in Bucharest and founder of the platform SEMI SILENT (2016), dedicated to podcasting, sound art, radio art, and field recording. She also developed the SONIC FUTURE RESIDENCIES program (2018, 5 editions) to support mobility in contemporary sound art. In 2022–2024, she co-curated Sonic Narratives (Simultan) in Timișoara as part of the European Capital of Culture.
